Requirements:

  • Pennsylvania EMT/Paramedic Certification

  • Pennsylvania Department of Health – Bureau of EMS Endorsed EMSVO with Driving Experience Preferred

What responsibilities do we ask of you?

  • Appropriately treat and transport ALS and BLS patients in various emergency settings

  • Clean and disinfect ambulances and medical equipment

  • House duties as assigned

  • Other duties as assigned

Volunteer

Volunteer at Bensalem EMS


Our unique setting offers a variety of EMS calls and learning opportunities for individuals with existing EMS certifications or those looking to find out what EMS is all about

We are looking for career focused volunteers that can become part of our team that want to help the community and learn how EMS works or evolve volunteer time into an EMS career

 

Requirements:

  • 18+ Years of Age

  • CPR Certified

  • First Aid Certified

 

What Do We Offer?

  • Flexibility for ride time on the ambulance on any of our ALS/BLS units

  • Ability to attend Bensalem EMS sponsored medical, continuing education, and rescue training classes

 

What responsibilities do we ask of you?

  • Volunteer for a minimum of 150 hours per year to be an active member

  • Attend a minimum of 50% of monthly volunteers meetings in a hybrid format

  • Be part of the team and assist our career staff not only on EMS calls but also with station duties
